Namito, born in Tehran in 1971, moved to West Berlin after the Iranian revolution. His passion for DJing led him to drop out of school in 1989 to pursue a career that has spanned over three decades. Starting in Berlin’s vibrant techno scene, he gained international recognition with releases on renowned labels like Kling Klong, Kompakt, and Yoshitoshi. Namito has performed at top clubs like Tresor and collaborated with artists like Marc Romboy and Grandmaster Flash. His 2019 track “Stone Flower” became Beatport’s best-selling Electronica hit.
