Born on March 7, 1989, in Erzincan, Turkey, İlyas Yalçıntaş developed a passion for music early on, starting as a guitarist at the age of 16. He began performing in various venues to support himself, gradually making a name in the local music scene. His breakthrough came in 2014 when he competed in X Factor Türkiye with his heartfelt performance of the song “İncir,” written by friends İskender Külekçi and Orçun Karamuk. The song’s success led to a new version in 2015, arranged by Behzat Gerçeker & Enbe Orkestrası, which quickly climbed to the top of the Kral Pop and TTNet Müzik charts.In the same year, Yalçıntaş released his first single “İncir,” followed by “Olmazsa Olmazımsın,” a collaboration with Enbe Orkestrası and Büşra Periz. His debut album, İçimdeki Duman, was released in 2016, compiling all his previous hits and adding new tracks. The album featured several popular songs like “İncir,” “Olmazsa Olmazımsın,” “Nefes,” “Bu Nasıl Veda,” and the title track, all of which were supported by music videos. In 2018, Yalçıntaş continued his rise in the industry with the release of “Şehrin Yolu,” a duet with Feride Hilal Akın.Known for his emotional voice and unique blend of heartfelt lyrics with modern sounds, Yalçıntaş has become one of Turkey’s most beloved artists.
