Makan Band is an Iranian pop music group that was formed in 2016. The band consists of Raham Hadian, Amir Maghareh, and Amir Milad Nikzad.

The name “Makan” has Persian and Gilaki roots and was the name of one of the sons of Kak, the rulers of Mazandaran in the 4th century AH, meaning “bravery.”

Makan Band is an Iranian music group that operates in the pop genre and is known by the alias “Makan Band.” This group, consisting of two young vocalists, has gained significant popularity since its inception and is now one of the most popular music groups in Iran. Yashar Khosravi formed this group in 2016 and took on the leadership role. The story goes that Yashar Khosravi issued a call in 2015 to form a music group. and Raham Hadian and Amir Maghareh also expressed their interest in joining the group by submitting a video of their passion. Eventually, they became the vocalists of the group! Amir Milad Nikzad is the group’s arranger. Additionally, the newly established Avazi Now company, under the management of Mr. Hassan Ardestani, provides financial support to Makan Band.

This young group is highly popular among people, especially teenagers and young adults. They have achieved such popularity that their concert tickets are sold out, and there is no room for more listeners! It could be said that Makan Band became famous with the song “Harbar In Doroo” (“Every Time You Knock on the Door”), which set a download record. Interestingly, the lyrics of this piece were previously written by Raham Hadian based on a saying of his father that he always listened to, “Close the door of the house gently.” Then they made some changes to the previous lyrics and released a new track. The song “Delgiri” (“Heartache”) also gained significant acclaim.

The group released their first official album, “Divune Bazi” (“Playing Crazy”), in August 2017. The album includes the following tracks: “Naro” (“Don’t Go”), “Sheyk” (“Chic”), “Ba To Aroomam” (“I Feel Calm with You”), “Cheshm Haye To” (“Your Eyes”), “Panjereh” (“Window”), “Bazicheh” (“Game”), “Ey Dad” (“Hey Father”), “Mesle Koohe” (“Like a Mountain”), “In Khiaboonha” (“These Streets”), “Baroon” (“Rain”), “Harbar In Doroo” (“Every Time You Knock on the Door”), and “Divune Bazi” (“Playing Crazy”).

The group’s first concert was held in Azar 2017 at the Milad International Exhibition Hall in Tehran. After that, they organized concerts in many cities in Iran, all of which were well-received. Makan Band’s European concert tour took place in 2018 in countries such as Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, and more.
